Part of DC's 2019 "Year of the Villain: The Offer" event, this "Courtship of Owls" chapter puts the armored, masked figure dominating the foreground in sharp contrast with a lone civilian walking through a warmly lit street below — watched from above by a pair of glowing red eyes lurking in the shadows. Bruno Redondo's cover does a masterful job splitting the image between cold, threatening blue and inviting amber tones, making the danger feel immediate without a single punch thrown. With Dan Jurgens writing and Ronan Cliquet on interior art, issue #62 has the moody atmosphere of a story that knows exactly how to keep you on edge.
