“The Quest for Magik Part Two”

Part two of "The Quest for Magik" arrives in this 2007 Marvel series, with Skottie Young delivering a cover that plunges readers straight into hellish chaos. A massive stone golem dominates the foreground while a blazing inferno erupts behind it, and scattered across the ground are small demonic figures scrambling in every direction — with a winged, colorful fairy-like being hovering above the mayhem. Young's linework captures a world that feels genuinely threatening and wonderfully strange, making this one hard to set back on the shelf.
