M.L.J. agent Dustin Simmons talks with his boyhood friend Roy about the history of the Mighty Crusaders. It is revealed that when the US Army began to back the Crusaders, other superheroes began to rotate through the group (see Mighty Crusaders #12). The traitor in the group (see Mighty Crusaders #13) created a rift, splitting apart group members and leading to the current lineup. It is also revealed that many of the 80s Red Circle villains were working for Brain Emperor.
