The Trust Part One" kicks off what promises to be a gripping arc, and Leinil Francis Yu's cover sets the tone immediately — a chaotic, blood-red tangle of figures in brutal close-quarters combat, with Spider-Man at the center of the pile, surrounded by snarling, battered combatants and looming monstrous forms in the background. The raw, visceral energy of Yu's linework gives the whole image a sense of things falling dangerously apart for Marvel's underground team of heroes. Brian Michael Bendis and Yu were firing on all cylinders during this 2007 run, and this issue looks like no exception.
