New Avengers #28
Part of Marvel's 2007 "The Initiative" era, this issue continues "Revolution Part Two" with a cover by Leinil Francis Yu that assembles a striking lineup of underground Avengers. Wolverine crouches front and center with claws fully extended, flanked by a powerful Luke Cage, Spider-Woman crackling with energy, and Iron Fist, while a robed Doctor Strange looms luminously above them all. It's a confident, purposeful gathering that captures exactly why Brian Michael Bendis's run on this title felt so vital — these heroes are clearly on the move, and the tension radiating from Yu's linework makes you want to turn the page immediately.
