Dec 1993 · Marvel · 1.25 USD; 1.60 CAD; 0.95 GBP
“Hunting Ground”

In "Hunting Ground," Namor, the Sub-Mariner, confronts both Attuma and Sunfire in a fierce clash across the icy waters of the Ross Sea, where the clash of empires and ideologies turns the frozen ocean into a battleground. As Namor intervenes to save Japanese sailors from drowning in the Arctic, a moment of unexpected humanity forces a hard-won reckoning on the captain of the fleet. Written by Glenn Herdling and illustrated with striking detail by Geof Isherwood—whose dynamic art defines the cover and interior—this 1993 Marvel classic captures a pivotal moment in Namor’s ongoing struggle between duty and vengeance.
