Attuma attacks Japanese whalers in the Ross Sea and Sunfire is sent out to protect the fleet. Namor finds out about the situation and a three-way brawl breaks out between Attuma, Sunfire and the Sub-Mariner. When Namor and a whale save Japanese sailors from drowning in the Arctic waters, the captain rethinks his destructive actions.
