My Little Margie #9

Margie's father pretends to be sick to get out of work, asking her to bring him pills and medicine with a "gruesome touch." She applies talcum powder to her face and visits his boss Mr. Honeywell's office, where she convinces the boss that her father has purchased a patent for a miraculous hair-growing product that will make them a million dollars. The scheme backfires when her father's hair and mustache fall out due to the patent formula, and Margie must find a way to fix the situation. The story concludes with Romeo and Daisy helping Margie operate the "smart boy" device, and Margie successfully getting her father to do his homework and household chores while keeping him occupied after school.
