"Quick on the Draw" follows young deputy Jack McCrae as he and Sheriff Quickly pursue the mysterious "Ghost Raider" and his gang into Dead End Canyon after they rob the Wells Fargo office. During a tense ambush, Jack is shot and wounded but manages to help capture two of the outlaws; the Ghost Raider escapes in the darkness. Later, Ray Benton reveals he was framed on murder charges by the Ghost Raider's trickery, and Jack races to send a message to stop Benton's execution. "Rustler's Roundup" depicts Monte Hale helping Dale Motley recover scattered cattle and exposing rustlers who were using forged authorization letters to steal the herd during winter.
