Monte Hale Western #38

Monte Hale encounters a traveling medicine show that comes to town promoting a fraudulent elixir called "Healtho." When the con artist manager runs off with receipts after the show folds, a group of women led by a single widow decide to buy an old ranch and operate it independently. However, their plans are disrupted when a dangerous prisoner named Parker, a gravedigger, escapes from custody, forcing Monte to pursue the fugitive and protect the townspeople from further harm.
