Millie the Model Comics #88
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeMillie the Model #88 brings Marvel's fashionable "Blonde Bombshell" to life in a perfectly charming 1959 cover by Dan DeCarlo, where a stylish Millie in a red dress surveys an absolutely absurd mountain of luggage — complete with hatboxes, garment bags, a birdcage, and two frazzled helpers struggling to manage it all — while insisting she's "only going overnight." It's a beautifully observed slice of mid-century comedy, with DeCarlo's clean, expressive linework capturing every exasperated glance and overstuffed suitcase with real wit. Writer Stan Lee and artist Dan DeCarlo were clearly having fun with Millie's world, and this issue is a delightful reminder of why she headlined her own title for so long.
