Midnight, Mass. #7
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeVertigo's supernatural series Midnight, Mass. reaches its seventh installment with a cover by Tomer Hanuka that sets an immediately unsettling mood: two gaunt, pallid figures press against a darkened window from outside, their hollow eyes and reaching hand directed at a startled man backing away inside a warmly wallpapered room, a silhouetted figure reflected ominously in a nearby mirror. John Rozum's script and Jesús Saiz's interior art (inked by Jimmy Palmiotti) bring the story "The Dust of Martyrs" to life beneath that tension-laden image. It's a satisfying chapter in one of Vertigo's quieter, more atmospheric horror offerings from December 2002.
