“I Married a Robot!”

A hypnotized Doc Magnus stands transfixed, wedding ring in hand, about to place it on the finger of a sinister yellow robot — while the Metal Men themselves (rendered in gold, silver, red, and purple) struggle desperately in the background, trapped in a web-like snare. The cover by Ross Andru and Mike Esposito perfectly sells the delightful absurdity of "I Married a Robot!": Doc's own team wanted him to marry their beloved Tina, but he's apparently about to wed the wrong robot entirely. It's classic 1965 DC sci-fi storytelling at its most wonderfully inventive.
