Mirka Andolfo's Mercy continues its lush Gothic vision with issue #4, subtitled "Why Would God Allow This?" — a title that hangs over the cover's unsettling tenderness like a dark promise. Andolfo's cover pencils and inks present a pale, blue-eyed woman adorned with a pearl necklace, her otherworldly calm fixed on a dark-haired figure she cradles, while jagged shadow-claws reach in from every edge of the frame.
