About the series
From 2020, Image Comics published Mercy, a six-issue miniseries written and illustrated by Mirka Andolfo (with Arancia Studio co-writing). Set in the American West, this horror-tinged saga follows a mysterious, red-cloaked figure whose arrival in a small, isolated town stirs up buried secrets and supernatural dread. Andolfo’s lush, expressive art brings a gothic, folkloric atmosphere to a story about justice, vengeance, and the monstrous nature of humanity.
