Master of Kung Fu #80

Issue #80 of this long-running Marvel series arrives with a cover by Mike Zeck and Gene Day that immediately earns its story title, "The Pride of Leopards" — Shang-Chi crouches in a combat-ready stance, a blade strapped to his forearm, while two snarling leopards lunge at him from either side against a stark black backdrop. The dynamic composition, with the big cats pressing in from both flanks and an industrial setting glimpsed behind him, gives the whole image a real sense of encirclement and tension. Doug Moench's script and Zeck's interior art make this 1979 installment a compelling chapter in Shang-Chi's ongoing adventures.
