The cover by Gil Kane and Terry Austin puts Shang-Chi front and center in his red fighting suit, palm striking toward a massive, looming armored figure whose sheer scale dominates the composition — while to his left a bare-chested warrior swings a bladed weapon on a chain, and to his right a blonde woman in blue wields a whip. The bold tagline "Doom Wears Three Faces!" crackles with threat, promising the kind of multi-layered intrigue that made this series one of Marvel's most compelling action titles of 1978. Doug Moench writes with Jim Craig on art for the interior story "Hiding Cats," making this a strong chapter in Shang-Chi's ongoing saga.
