Marvel Team-Up #32
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis April 1975 issue of Marvel Team-Up pairs the Human Torch with the Son of Satan for what the cover boldly calls "A War of Fire and Brimstone!" — and Gil Kane and Frank Giacoia deliver on that promise with a scorching cover scene of a massive flame-wreathed creature bearing down on a defiant Son of Satan, while the flaming Human Torch streaks overhead and a circular inset hints at yet another powerful figure entering the fray. The cover's speech bubbles raise real stakes, with Johnny Storm apparently at the mercy of an enchanted "Soul-Fire" and the life of Wyatt Wingfoot hanging in the balance, making this a genuinely tense team-up setup. Gerry Conway scripts and Sal Buscema pencils the interior, so fans of sharp 1970s Marvel storytelling are in very good hands.
