“Endings!”

"Endings!" marks a pivotal moment in Spider-Man’s saga, as the web-slinger confronts the aftermath of a brutal clash with Hobgoblin—only to stumble upon a mysterious alien complex in Central Park, drawing him toward the looming threat of the Secret Wars. Written by Roger Stern and Tom DeFalco, with dynamic art by Ron Frenz and inks by Klaus Janson, the issue blends high-stakes action with a haunting sense of transition. George Pérez’s striking cover captures the chaos, while the story’s emotional weight and escalating mystery set the stage for a defining chapter in the Marvel Universe.

Hobgoblin has blown up Green Goblin's lair and escaped in his battle van. Spider-Man makes his way into the van. It crashes into the river and explodes as Spider-Man escapes. Spidey tries to save Hobgoblin but is only able to find his mask. Spider-Man arrives at the Bugle and discovers that JJJ has already printed his crime (the creation of the Scorpion). Jonah has turned the reins over to Robbie and will solely function as the Bugle's publisher. Spidey swings into Central Park to find a giant alien complex that he feels compelled to enter. He is off to the Secret Wars.
