In "La Séparation," the Hulk seeks refuge in a hidden Moloid village beneath the Earth, isolated from the world above. When surface dwellers arrive—led by the enigmatic Amanda Von Doom and the scientist Bruce Banner—they bring news of a Dr. Moreau-like threat that could shatter the fragile peace of the underground realm.

In "La Grande Evasion," the renegade Thunderbolts—Luke Cage, Songbird, Mach V, Moonstone, Satana, Fixer, Centurius, Troll, Boomerang, and Mister Hyde—find themselves suddenly thrust into Nazi-occupied territory during World War II, where they're immediately set upon by German soldiers. With no time to regroup, they're unexpectedly rescued by the Invaders, including Captain America and Namor, as the line between past and present begins to blur.
