Marvel Select Flip Magazine #14
In "Part 2 of 6," Wolverine wakes disoriented in a world that feels eerily familiar yet fundamentally wrong, fleeing the SHIELD helicarrier and navigating a reality where mutants are tabloid fodder and the X-Mansion is a suburban home. Written by Brian Michael Bendis and illustrated by Olivier Coipel, with inks by Tim Townsend and colors by Frank D'Armata, this issue plunges him into a hidden resistance led by Luke Cage, who warns him to deal with a SHIELD tracker embedded at the base of his skull—before Hawkeye does. The cover by Marc Silvestri and Greg Land, inked by Joe Weems and Matt Ryan, captures the tension of a fractured hero in a world gone sideways.

Wolverine, confused at this new world he finds himself in, leaps from the SHIELD helicarrier trying to find some answers. He reads an issue of "The Pulse" which seems to be a celebrity mutant tabloid. He finds X-Mansion occupied by a normal couple. He tries to get into Stark Tower to talk to Tony but his SHIELD unit catches up with him and tries to bring him in. He escapes into Cloak's cloak where he is teleported to the location of the human resistance movement led by Luke Cage. Luke tells him to destroy the SHIELD tracker at the base of his skull or Hawkeye will destroy it for him.
