“Phoenix Endsong Part Three”

In "Phoenix Endsong Part Three," the X-Men race to confront the Phoenix Force as Storm and Nightcrawler fight off the Shi'ar, while Jean Grey's fragile body struggles under the entity's growing dominance. With Wolverine pushed to the edge and the Phoenix fully in control, the team arrives just in time for Cyclops to face the unthinkable—firing his optic blasts at the very heart of the Phoenix. Written by Greg Pak and illustrated by Greg Land, with inks by Matt Ryan, colors by Justin Ponsor, and letters by Clem Robins, the issue's cover by Greg Land and Matt Ryan captures the escalating intensity of the moment.

While Storm and Nightcrawler take on the Shi'ar, the X-Men fly off to confront the Phoenix. Barely surviving a Shi'ar attack, Phoenix goads Wolverine into trying to kill her which only makes the body of Jean weaker while putting the Phoenix completely in control. The X-Men arrive and Phoenix has Cyclops shoot her with his optic blasts.
