Marvel Firsts: The 1960s #[nn]
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis 2011 Marvel anthology collects landmark 1960s stories by the foundational team of Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Steve Ditko, with inks by Sol Brodsky and Ditko and coloring by Chris Sotomayor. The cover, penciled by Kirby and Ditko and inked by Brodsky and Ditko, puts five of Marvel's earliest heroes on parade: Thor with his hammer, Spider-Man in his web-patterned suit, Iron Man in his bulky gold armor, the flaming Human Torch, and a tiny Ant-Man perched above them all — with inset portraits of the Fantastic Four rounding out the lineup. Small cover reproductions of Amazing Fantasy, The Avengers, Fantastic Four, Journey into Mystery, Tales to Astonish, Tales of Suspense, and Strange Tales hint at the breadth of Silver Age material waiting inside.
