Before setting off for Anton Pretorius' house, T'Challa begins to take Zanti Chikane back to Zanti's home. On the way, T'Challa relates how he has figured out that Anton Pretorius has been behind all the attacks, but is not certain why. Doeke Riebeeck and Sgt. van der Merwe's troops stumble upon T'Challa's sonar glider and begin trying to break into it. T'Challa hurries back to save his ship. Zanti follows and is shot by van der Merwe.
