Le savant Bruce Banner sauve un jeune garçon d'une explosion nucléaire mais absorbe des quantités mortelles de rayonnement gamma qui le transforment en un monstre surnommé Hulk. Bruce Banner est un scientifique le jour, mais se transforme en Hulk une fois le soleil couché. Les militaires traquent Hulk. Igor envoie un message par ondes courtes à ses alliés communistes, et à la Gargouille. La Gargouille capture Hulk et Rick et les emmène derrière le rideau de fer. Hulk se transforme à nouveau en Banner guérit la Gargouille. La Gargouille aide ensuite Banner et Jones à s'évader vers les USA.
