The final issue of Marvel Chillers goes out swinging: Jack Kirby and Dan Adkins deliver a cover packed with urgent energy, showing a triumphant Super-Skrull looming large in his purple-and-gold costume, gripping a downed Tigra by the hair while a second Skrull closes in — and Red Wolf charges into the fray from the left, weapon raised, wolf companion at his side. The cover copy makes the stakes bracingly clear: the Super-Skrull wields "the combined might of the Fantastic Four," and this promises to be "the final battle." With Jim Shooter writing and Gil Tuska on interior art, this October 1976 closer to the series is a genuinely gripping snapshot of Tigra the Were-Woman at her most imperiled.
