Marvel Chillers #6
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeMarvel Chillers #6 (1976) puts Tigra the Were-Woman front and center in a fierce rooftop standoff, her tiger-striped form and flowing mane filling the cover as a snarling, reddish wolf-creature hurls a battle axe and shouts "Die, Were-Woman, Die!" in the story titled "Night of the Wolf!" Rich Buckler's pencils and Mike Esposito's inks give the confrontation a raw, kinetic energy that perfectly captures the horror-hero flavor Marvel was exploring at the time. It's a striking mid-'70s cover that makes a strong case for Tigra as one of the more distinctive figures in Marvel's ever-expanding lineup.
