Marmaduke Mouse has written a symphony to impress the father of his beloved Millicent, but the girl's father—the successful businessman Marvin Mouse—dismisses him as worthless. When Marmaduke lands a job at a sign company to prove himself, he creates a sample advertisement for Marvin Mouse's wrecking business... only to have the sign accidentally placed on the wrong house, leading to comic chaos. Will this disaster cost him any chance at winning Millicent's hand, or might it somehow turn his fortunes around?
