Marmaduke Mouse and his sailor crew encounter a hurricane at sea, with Marmaduke confidently steering the ship through the dangerous storm. After the ship is blown off course, Marmaduke attempts to regain control but the wind forces them in the wrong direction, nearly destroying the vessel. Later, on land, Marmaduke encounters a pig vendor and tricks him by serving mud instead of real coffee, claiming the pig won't know the difference. When confronted about his deception, Marmaduke is struck and flees; he then challenges Buzzy Rabbit to a forward pass football competition, but is outsmarted when Buzzy throws a forward pass that Marmaduke catches—only to land face-first in the mud, giving Buzzy the last laugh as Marmaduke admits defeat.

When Buzzy Rabbit receives word that his rich Uncle Mazuma has passed away, the whole neighborhood suddenly treats him like royalty—especially Witty Fox, who goes from playing mean tricks on Buzzy to lavishing him with gifts and fair-day treats. But as Buzzy enjoys himself at the carnival, a shocking truth emerges that turns the tables on everyone's expectations. A hilarious romp with plenty of slapstick payoffs and comeuppance for those who had it coming.
