“Beers”

In "Beers," a 1994 Mad Super Special, the absurdly named Yack Nattier stumbles into a vat of toxic waste while fleeing from Battyman, emerging as the grotesque Jerker. With a laugh and a thirst for chaos, the Jerker unleashes a citywide spree of violence, turning the streets into a twisted game. Written by Stan Hart and brought to life with razor-sharp satire by Mort Drucker—both on interior art and cover—this issue delivers a gloriously over-the-top tale of crime, calamity, and a very specific kind of justice.

Fleeing from Battyman, criminal Yack Nattier falls into a vat of toxic waste and becomes the Jerker. The Jerker begins a citywide campaign of shooting, killing, and poisoning, laughing all the way. As the Jerker falls to his death during a fight, Battyman follows. That way they can both avoid the sequel.
