Lucifer has a problem: a wound from a previous battle contains shards of a strange metal that are slowly moving towards his heart. Reasoning that this type of metal could only come from one place, Lucifer decides that he and Gabriel should take a trip to Hell, where they meet Lucifer's ex-girlfriend Mazikeen - who is now Queen of Hell. Meanwhile in Oklahoma, a young woman named Teena Hornick has come into possession of a jar containing a nasty supernatural spirit that seems to be influencing her behavior.
