Bugs Bunny is at his most mischievous on this April 1946 Dell cover, crouching in the garden with a pump contraption, a bottle of Vitamin B1, and an enormous carrot that's clearly benefited from some unorthodox cultivation. Dan Gormley's cover art gives Bugs that signature wide grin, dressed in his blue overalls and yellow gloves, looking thoroughly pleased with whatever scheme he's hatched. A cheerful, vintage slice of Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies charm that captures the series at its playful best.
