From 1942, this cheerful Dell issue brings together much of the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies gang in one lively package. The cover — credited to Leon Schlesinger and Emma McKean — features a round-cheeked Porky Pig in his red bow tie sharing the spotlight with a gangly black rabbit and a scrappy little mouse in a red jacket, while a film-strip banner across the top showcases Sylvester, Daffy Duck, and several other familiar faces peeking in. At a dime a copy, it's a warm snapshot of wartime cartoon fun, with interior work entirely by Walt Kelly handling art, inks, and lettering throughout.
