Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies Comics #40

A February 1945 Dell treat for fans of Warner Bros.' animated stars, this issue features cover art by Dan Gormley showcasing Bugs Bunny taking a mighty baseball swing — sending what appears to be another character (or a well-placed pitch) flying through the air with a satisfying crack of the bat. Porky Pig and a couple of other familiar Looney Tunes faces peek in from the left border, watching the action unfold with wide-eyed delight.
