Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies Comics #106
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis 1950 Dell offering packs 52 pages of all-comics fun under a wonderfully sly cover by Dan Gormley: Bugs Bunny crouches beside a bush with a rifle conveniently nearby, while a hapless game warden — badge and all — peers over the same shrubbery right next to a "No Hunting" sign, completely outsmarted before a single word is spoken. The sunny yellow backdrop and that telltale scattering of coins on the ground add just enough visual mischief to make it clear Bugs has the situation well in hand. At a dime a copy and with John Carey handling interior art duties, this is a cheerful snapshot of Looney Tunes comics at their warm, comedic best.
