Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies Comics #102
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeBugs Bunny is absolutely in his element on this April 1950 Dell cover, gleefully feeding an enormous, sprawling tangle of carrots into what appears to be some kind of mechanical carrot-processing machine — with predictably abundant results spilling across the floor. Dan Gormley's pencils and inks give the whole scene a wonderfully lively, rubbery energy that perfectly captures the spirit of the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies characters. At 52 pages of all-comics content for just a dime, this is a charming snapshot of early 1950s cartoon comics at their most fun.
