Daffy Duck finds himself in a precarious spot on the cover of Looney Tunes #45 (October 1998), microphone in hand, nervously delivering his joke about "three stupid rabbits" to a crowd that includes some very large, very unamused bunnies — one sporting a "Mudder" tattoo — while a small brown rabbit sits calmly at their feet. Cover pencils by David Álvarez and inks by Mike DeCarlo give the gag terrific comedic energy, setting the stage perfectly for the "Bad Hare Day" story within. If you enjoy Daffy talking himself into trouble, this one looks like a treat.
