“This Isn't Your Life, Daffy Duck!”

Daffy Duck finds himself thoroughly wrapped up — literally — in gray restraining straps stamped "Property of Warner Bros. Legal Dept." on this gleefully self-aware cover for Looney Tunes #23 from June 1996. The story title "The Silence of the Ham" promises a Daffy-sized parody, with the exasperated duck sweating and squirming under the corporate branding in true manic fashion. It's a charming slice of mid-'90s DC/Warner humor that puts Daffy's rubbery expressiveness front and center.
