Issue #150 of DC's Looney Tunes marks a milestone in style, with a cover by Scott Gross that stages Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck as two old showbiz veterans seated face-to-face in a spotlight — Daffy clutching what appears to be an award — while the entire Looney Tunes ensemble crowds the darkened background behind them. Daffy's speech bubble riffs on a famous line about the pictures getting small, giving the whole scene a wonderfully self-aware, behind-the-curtain charm.
