☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeLong Bow, an Indian boy and skilled archer, leads young captives to escape from an ambush trail by canoe, but they are pursued by attacking dogs and warriors. After Long Bow defeats a large attacker in combat, the group flees but becomes separated; Long Bow then councils with a tribal leader about rival tribes and a phantom fox threat, warning of enemies preparing for war. Later, Long Bow confronts Red Hatchet's tribe during a battle with the Blackfeet raiders, ultimately defeating Red Hatchet with an arrow and preventing the theft of horses, though a fox-charmed woman expresses her hope never to encounter Long Bow again.
When two young hunters—Long Bow and his companion Foxfoot—are ambushed and captured by the ruthless Crow chief Big Knife, they're dragged into slavery alongside a white boy named Joseph, a captive forced to serve as bait for wagon trains. Now held in the Crow village and subjected to cruel tests of obedience, the prisoners glimpse a weapon and a fleeting opportunity to escape before Big Knife uses them in another deadly trap. Will they find their freedom, or are they doomed to remain prisoners on Ambush Trail?
