Loki reclines on a golden throne surrounded by heaps of treasure, dangling a goblet that bears the glowing face of another figure — all cool calculation and barely concealed smirk, the God of Mischief has never looked more in command of the situation. Jenny Frison's cover art is a gorgeous piece of visual storytelling, dripping with Asgardian opulence and just enough menace to keep you guessing whose fate is swirling in that cup. Al Ewing, Lee Garbett, and Nolan Woodard's 2014 series continues to make a strong case that Loki is one of Marvel's most compelling leads.
