The Pet Avengers battle Thanos on the White House lawn for the Infinity Gems and the fate of the universe. Lockjaw uses the gems and his indomitable will to defeat Thanos and maroon him in another dimension. Before the gems are turned over to Black Bolt and Mr. Fantastic, they are used to create a psychic link among the animals so that the Pet Avengers can gather once again in times of peril.
