Lobo charges straight at the viewer in this April 1996 issue, snarling behind a horned helmet with twin cannons blazing on either side and aerial explosions lighting up the sky behind him — it's a cover by Val Semeiks and John Dell that puts you right in the crosshairs. Written by Alan Grant with interior art by Alex Horley and inks by Paolo Parente, the issue is titled "The Duel," which feels entirely appropriate given that face-on, come-get-some energy radiating from the Main Man himself. If you've ever wanted to feel like you're the unlucky target of the galaxy's most relentless bounty hunter, this one delivers the sensation vividly.
