Life with Archie #184
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThere's no shortage of chaos on the cover of this 1977 Archie Series entry, as Archie and a wide-eyed blond companion scramble in alarm while a very large, very agitated gorilla bursts free from its enclosure — a giraffe peeking in from the background adding just the right touch of absurdity to the whole zoo-gone-wrong scene. Stan Goldberg's cover pencils capture the slapstick panic perfectly, with the dialogue bubbles promising that someone has turned the gorilla loose and that good news is decidedly not on the way. Inside, the cover copy teases a family squabble, a runaway girl, two eager young detectives, and an unusual talent all tied together in the story "The Secret Behind the Mask.
