Li'l Genius features multiple comic strips. In one story, a clever child outwits his father's attempts at various tasks—first the father tries to build a boat after mentioning kids love sailing, but the child's antics lead to chaos. In another adventure, the child helps an Americano farmer named Gonzales and his friend Pedro deal with watermelon thieves, ultimately recovering stolen watermelons and earning a reward of free watermelons from the grateful farmer.
