Legion of Super-Heroes #114

The bold cover banner announces the Bizarro Legion — and Alan Davis and Mark Farmer deliver on that promise with a chaotic, dynamic image of several Legionnaires getting hurled in every direction by a chalk-white, wild-eyed Bizarro figure dominating the center. Scattered around him are multiple heroes in colorful costumes — including a pink-suited woman, a red-and-white-haired figure clutching a gun, and smaller figures tumbling through a burst of yellow energy — all looking decidedly overwhelmed. With Tom Peyer and Tom McCraw scripting and Scott Kolins on interior art, this April 1999 issue of Legion of Super-Heroes looks like a wonderfully strange collision between the 30th century's finest and one very imperfect opponent.
