In "Chapter III: His Majesty... King Baby-Face!", Green Arrow and the Vigilante land on a mysterious island to find more than just a hidden aquarium—they uncover Baby-Face Johnson, a flamboyant criminal now ruling the island with a crown and a flair for the dramatic. When a gang member reports that scientists on a neighboring island are harvesting rare fish, Baby-Face declares war on the researchers, turning his island into a fortress of aquatic chaos.
In "Chapter IV: Taskmasters and Toilers!" from Leading Comics #10 (1944), Wing and Stripesy find brief refuge among the island's inhabitants after their rescue, only to be swiftly captured by the King and his forces. The duo’s struggle takes a tense turn as they face the island’s oppressive rulers, testing their resolve in a fight for survival.
In "Chapter V: The Fortunate Fish!", the Knight and the Kid arrive just in time aboard the Winged Victory to aid Professor Moran and his museum expedition, only to be captured by the villains. When all seems lost, the Professor's mysterious fish-catching device proves unexpectedly vital—just as the tide turns, the real challenge begins.
In "Chapter VI: Revelation of Roguery!" from Leading Comics #10 (1944), William and Jonathan race to rescue Wing and Stripesy from execution, only to uncover the King’s shocking lie—that the islands aren’t his, and the two heroes have been enslaved all along. As the Kid and the Shining Knight arrive to confront the remaining villains, Professor Moran is overwhelmed, leaving the Legionnaires to face the King’s next move.
In "Chapter VII: Kingdom's End!" from Leading Comics #10 (1944), the Legionnaires regroup for one final stand as they confront Baby-Face Johnson and his gang, who are soon captured and forced into grueling labor under Jonathan and William’s command.
