Lash discovers the false chief and learns the truth before the medicine man dies, then uses his bullwhip to stop a burning wagon and rescue those inside. In "The Prairie Betrayal" (Chapter Two: Inferno on Wheels), Lash pursues a wagon that has been set on fire, using his whip to wrap around one of its posts to slow it down as it careens toward a mountain cliff, attempting to save those trapped inside.
