The main story, "Alibi for Murder," involves Lash LaRue investigating the murder of the Bar-B Ranch owner after two men are found dead at the laundry. When suspect Ben Jenson claims innocence, Lash devises a plan to trap the real killer by staging a laundry business and spreading word through town. The scheme succeeds in drawing out Joe Kagey, the actual murderer, who is captured after attempting to eliminate Lash at the Pine Valley Bar. The issue also includes a "Wagonwheels" humor segment about a character's mishap at a dance, and a Dubble Bubble gum advertisement.
