The second issue of Dark Horse's Lady Killer delivers its darkly comic premise with pitch-perfect 1950s style: a radiant woman in a sunny yellow dress and elbow-length gloves beams with picture-perfect poise beside an open car trunk, while a tuxedoed gentleman tips his hat nearby — all of it framed by the cover's winking tagline, "Stylish enough for her… roomy enough for everyone else." Joëlle Jones's cover art captures that delicious tension between suburban cheerfulness and something far more sinister with effortless charm. If the first issue left you hooked, this one makes a very convincing case for staying in the series.
